Steel, aluminium, galvanised metal, glass, ceramics and concrete are priority substrates. Success depends on surface cleaning, oxide state, cured network and moisture exposure.

Polar plastics such as ABS and PC can sometimes be improved through formulation and surface treatment, but not all plastics behave alike. Non-polar PP and PE usually require a chlorinated polyolefin primer, flame treatment or plasma activation.

Build a matrix of substrate and pretreatment, cure chemistry and environmental test rather than selecting only by industry name. Each combination should include a blank and two to three candidate JCCM grades.

Note: specific plastic grades and surface state can change results; validate on the actual substrate.
